I support you in taking new ‘risks,’ not only making it through a transition, but really living into who you want to be and how you want to live your life.
And on different occasions I have had to do the same.
At different ages and stages we are faced with choices of our making, or situations forced upon us. We may have many responsibilities and financial obligations, or we may not, either way – your time of ‘transition’ may be fraught with your own mix of worries, uncertainty, exhilaration, opportunity, stuckness… on and on.
Somewhere in this mix, our own personal mixture of heart and head thinking, our personal experiences, culture and biology (think fight, flight, freeze for one example) will impact how we proceed through this time.
Taking time in the day, the week, to stay aware of how your own natural philosophy is helping or hindering how you feel and the choices you’re making, is crucial as is being aware of what you’re plugging into. Having some source that resonates with you, that enables you to retouch a sense of peace while providing space which allows for fresh thinking and creativity to percolate.
In particular, here in the States at least, seems to be the phenomenon touching the lives of many men and women in their late 40’s + bracket who are redefining themselves and stepping up and in to their new path.
So I’m glad to share that I stepped up to become a contributing author in the Midlife Transformations book due out in March, 2017.
Watch for the release of Midlife Transformation: Redefining Life, Love, Health & Success featuring my story as well as 28 other soul-inspiring stories.
